The hotel sits directly across from the cathedral, it made navigating the city simple. The staff was very helpful. I found the bed comfortable. Access to coffee and tea was available all day, which I greatly appreciated.
The room was quite small. Charging my phone required unplugging either the lamp or the heater. The skylight needed cleaning. The overall decor felt a bit dark.

The hotel provided a good breakfast with various cereals and breads. Cheeses and meats were available along with vegan options, I ate a satisfying meal each morning.

The bathroom was terribly designed with only a cloth shower curtain. after showering, water dripped all over. the noise was also bad. I was woken up by doors banging.

The location was superb, close to many cafes and the main church. Bus stop access across the street simplified tour pickups (very handy!). The receptionist was very helpful and gave us a comfortable room. Breakfast was very good.
The stairs were very skinny, so we had to drag our suitcases up to the room.

The hotel is situated in a quiet neighborhood, which i appreciated. I found a grocery store downstairs for quick needs (that was convenient!). The hotel is a short walk from a coffee shop, bakery and restaurants.

The breakfast offered a tasty and rich experience. A coffee and tea point available 24 hours adds extra convenience. A rich breakfast at the hotel, as well as at the excellent Cafe Loki, offered food from Iceland.

The staff was friendly, cute and very helpful . They were ready to assist with various things (directions, recommendations, etc.). They even packed a breakfast for an early departure, which i thought was nice.

I appreciated the central location near the iconic church. The staff helped book a Northern Lights tour for me at a reasonable price (very useful!). My room was clean and quite adequate for resting after sightseeing.
The stairs were somewhat narrow when I brought my luggage up.
